The Owner of We Are Zion

Hey, I’m Cale Arnett, I’m 23 years old — and I want to tell you a little bit about myself and why I started We Are Zion.

Growing up, I struggled to manage my emotions and fell into poor habits. I didn’t understand what was happening to me. I felt alone and lost until I discovered I was dealing with anxiety and ADHD. For a long time, that became my identity. I believed the world when it told me I couldn’t change — that this was just who I was.

Discovering a new world

But when I hit rock bottom, God found me. He opened my eyes to our divine potential and reminded me that healing and growth are possible. I felt inspired to serve a mission and was called to the Scotland/Ireland Mission during COVID. After being reassigned to Independence, Missouri, I came home early due to anxiety and depression. At the time, I thought I had failed. But that moment became the beginning of something far greater.

Through years of self-discipline, faith, and God’s grace, I rebuilt my life piece by piece. I found joy through my sorrows, a new mindset, and tools to manage my emotions. I proved to myself — and anyone who struggles — that change is possible.

Now, I’ve dedicated my life to helping young people navigate life’s challenges and discover their divine potential.

I’m a professional videographer and storyteller, creating short films, wedding videos, and projects that inspire others. I’ve spent the last five years traveling across four continents and exploring six countries — discovering how new cultures can completely change your perspective on life.

Lifestyle

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me surfing, spearfishing, or playing sand volleyball. The ocean and the outdoors are my safe haven — where I feel closest to God.

I’m currently studying foreign languages and life coaching certification, always striving to learn and grow. Everything I have and everything I am, I owe to God. He’s made me who I am today, and I’m passionate about sharing my adventures, experiences, and faith with the world through We Are Zion.
